Regional Presidents Spain wages revealed - From 130,000 to 69,000 euros: this is what the regional presidents in Spain charge.

The salary of the autonomous presidents of Spain is not regulated by law, which causes notable differences between them.

The podium of the presidents with the highest salary is completed by the Basque president, Íñigo Urkullu, and the president of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

Below are the salaries of all the regional presidents (including those of the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla), with the community he heads and the political party he represents.

Gross annual salary: 69,084.68 euros.
Gross monthly salary: 4,934.62 euros.

In the previous legislature, from 2015 to 2019, and also as president of the Balearic Government, her salary was 66,240. 44 euros gross per year. She was born in 1971 and is the highest governor of the Government since July 2, 2015.

He is the president of the Junta de Andalucía since January 18, 2019, and president of the Partido Popular Andaluz since March 2, 2014.

He was born on April 29, 1965, in Salamanca and holds a degree in Law and a Diploma from the School of Legal Practice of the University of Salamanca. He was mayor of this city between 2011 and 2018.

- Maria Victoria Chivite Navascués (Navarre)

María Chivite has been president of Navarra since August 2019. In the previous legislature (2015-2019), he led the opposition at the head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group with a gross salary per year of 56,718.62 euros.

She was born in Cintruénigo (Navarra) in 1978 and has a degree in Sociology from the Public University of Navarra (2001) and a master’s degree in HR Organization and Management at Foro Europeo (2002).

- Miguel Angel Revilla Roiz (Cantabria)

Party: PRC.
Gross annual salary: 76,567.54 euros.

He was born in Polaciones on January 23, 1943. He has a degree in Political, Economic and Commercial Sciences, a diploma in Banking and Stock Exchange from the University of the Basque Country and is a bank director on leave.

Between 1974 and 1982 he directed the Banco Atlántico branch in Torrelavega. From 1979 to 1982 he was professor of Economic Structure at the Higher School of Business Management of Santander, before entering the University of Cantabria, where he worked as professor of Economic Policy and Public Finance until 1995.

In 1976 he created the Association for the Defense of the Interests of Cantabria (ADIC), and from it founded, in 1978, the Regionalist Party of Cantabria (PRC), on behalf of which he has been a deputy since 1982. In 1988, the Congress of the PRC elected him general secretary, a position he currently holds, revalidated by successive party congresses.

In the 1995-1999 and 1999-2003 legislatures he was vice president and Minister of Public Works, Housing and Urban Planning of the Government of Cantabria.

After the regional elections of 2003, he was invested for the first-time president of Cantabria, a position that he reissued after the elections of 27 May 2007, remaining in it until 1 July 2011.

After a hiatus of 4 years, during which he was the leader of the opposition in the Parliament of Cantabria, the regional elections of 2015 would bring as a consequence his return to the presidency of the Autonomous Community, taking office on July 6, 2015. His gross salary in that legislature was 60,730. 64 euros.

The regional elections of May 26, 2019, increased him as the most voted candidate and, as a result, he would be inaugurated president on June 30, 2019 in what is his fourth term as such.
