History

By defeating Queen Azshara at the Eternal Palace, we freed N'Zoth from her prison, the ancient God is the subject of Patch 8.3: Visions of N'Zoth.

WoW Patch 8-3 NZoth Visions

For the first time in World of Warcraft, we will witness the unleashing of the real power of a very ancient God. C'thun, Y'shaarj and Yogg-Saron could not give a full overview of what they were capable of, N'Zoth will be able to because it is entirely free: this is the main threat of Patch 8.3.

Ny'alotha is the domain of the Black Empire, it is there that the offspring of the very old Gods prepare their dark plans. And it turns out that it is not very far from us, since it is actually the reverse side of Azeroth, the hidden side of the world whose entrance is located in the Valley of the eternal spring in Pandaria.

From this dark place, N'Zoth tries to destroy the last defenses of Azeroth placed under the control of titanic installations. If these fall, Azeroth is doomed.

Titanic assaults

Periodically, N'Zoth will attack one of the areas of the world where a titanic installation is placed in order to try to corrupt and destroy it, unleashing a number of creatures of the Void from Ny'alotha, and therefore a large number of treasures, puzzles and so many other features. According to Ion Hazzikostas, this is a mix of everything the developers have learned from the assaults of Tides of Vengeance, but also from Mécagone and Nazjatar.

Players have the opportunity to go to the most remote parts of N'Zoth's mind in order to perceive the alternative reality seeking to interfere in Azeroth: what could happen if they came to fail. However, it will not be possible to venture very far into these visions as the mental assaults of N'Zoth will be violent and repeated. Also, we will have to retreat but will take with us a small piece of these visions in order to gain power for the rest of the adventure.

Irion, the Black Prince himself will come to our aid in order to accomplish this perilous goal: he will help us create a legendary cape so that we can better and better resist N'Zoth's mental assaults in these horrifying worldviews : Ashjra'kamas, veil of determination!

Battle for Azeroth Season 4

A new affix, Awakened, makes its appearance with Season 4 of the Mythic + keys, in addition of course to a new PvP season including new rewards both in terms of equipment and cosmetics. In addition, the Seismic affix undergoes a "nerve" and Operation: Mechacon becomes accessible in Heroic and Mythic Mode +!

Since good news never intervenes alone, accomplishing all the instances before the end of the time allotted in Mythic Mode +10 grants a new title (<Name>, awake), while all of them accomplish in Mode Mythic +15 grants an exceptional mount: the Awakened Tapper.

Finally, during Patch 8.3 only "War" and "Forged by Titans" objects will no longer be available and replaced by a new system: corrupted objects!

Ny'alotha, the awakened city

Players will have to go directly to the heart of Ny'alotha in order to strike a fatal blow to the Black Empire and its dark machinations. This is the fifth raid in Battle for Azeroth: Ny'alotha, the city on the alert.

The city of all crimes has a total of 12 bosses, with a final boss as expected as feared: N'Zoth the Corruptor!
