Volodin suggested that deputies make the protection of the historical memory of the Second World War a priority: Volodin requests deputies Second World War monuments priority!
The protection of the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War should be a priority in the work of State Duma committees. This opinion was voiced during the meeting by the speaker of the lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin, the correspondent of the Federal News Agency reports.
“2020 is a special, year of memory and glory for the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. This victory was won by our fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers. 27 million Soviet citizens died defending our homeland and the world, ”Volodin recalled.
Volodin requests deputies Second World War monuments priority
According to him, it was always important for parliamentarians that history did not correspond and the truth about the war was not distorted.
“But today we see how the politicians of a number of countries do everything in order to distort them, rewrite history in their interests. This is unacceptable, ”Volodin emphasized.
In particular, he pointed to the latest decisions of the Polish Sejm, which had previously adopted a resolution equalizing the responsibility of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany for the outbreak of World War II.
“Our colleagues from the Sejm of Poland, before making decisions that tarnish the memory of the war liberators of World War II, would have been right to familiarize ourselves with the statement of the President of the United States of America Franklin Roosevelt. On the difficult days of April 1942, he said: “On the European front, the most important event of the past year without a doubt was the crushing counterattack of the great Russian army against a powerful German group. Russian troops destroyed and continue to destroy more manpower, planes, tanks and guns of our common enemy than all other united nations combined, ”stated Volodin.
Those who make decisions that distort history in Poland and in other countries should memorize this, the State Duma speaker noted.
“In Poland, the largest part of the Jewish people in all of Europe was destroyed. And this is no coincidence, colleagues. Because it was in Poland that hundreds of concentration camps and death camps were placed where Jews, Slavs, and prisoners of war of other nationalities were purposefully destroyed. In many ways, the fact that so many concentration camps were deployed was facilitated by the pre-war atmosphere in Poland and the position of the leadership of this country, which fueled anti-Semitic sentiments in society and created the ground for subsequent genocide and the Holocaust, ”he added.
“Let’s show our position here and demand an apology from the current Polish leadership. I apologize for what happened on the territory of Poland in the pre-war years, and for what is happening today, ”Volodin addressed his colleagues.
According to the speaker of the lower house of parliament, “only weak and deceitful politicians cannot reconcile with the role of the Soviet Union over the“ brown plague ”.
“It would be right for the committees on international affairs, CIS affairs and relations with compatriots, the committee on culture, the committee on education, our parliamentary delegations in PACE, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and other inter-parliamentary structures to do everything in order to consider the issue of protecting historical memory for priority itself, ”concluded Volodin.
Tulyak owed 130 thousand rubles to the tax authorities
Tula court bailiffs were examined by the enforcement proceedings against the malicious defaulter. A local resident did not pay more than 130 thousand rubles of tax debt.
The non-payer did not take any measures to pay the debt, so the bailiff put a registration ban on the debtor's cars: Mercedes-Benz, Renault Midlum and BMW 1161.
It was this measure that prompted Tula to repay the existing debt in full. After that, all registration bans were removed from the man. This is reported by the Office of the FSSP of Russia in the Tula region.
