UFC weighing video looking fast results: Frankie Edgar Vs. Chan Sung Jung!
Watch the UFC on ESPN + 23: Heavy between ESPN +'s Edgar and Zombie. Take a final look at the fighters as they climb the scales before entering the cage in Buson, South Korea, in the early hours (North American time).
The fight card is topped by country of origin hero Chan Sung Jung (aka The Korean Zombie). Jung remains in the main event after former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar agreed to be a short-term replacement for his original opponent, Brian Ortega. Ortega fell out of the card after suffering a partial rupture of his right anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Edgar had been on his way to his rooster debut against Cory Sandhagen in January, but when the UFC needed a high-profile opponent to keep Jung in the main event in his home country, the former champion took the opportunity to head a card in South Korea, though the fight keeps him in the featherweight division for the time being.

BREAKING: Sonny Dykes signs contract extension with SMU
Prior to Saturday's bowl game, where the SMU 2019 team will be looking to become one of the few in the program's history to gain 11 wins, head coach Sonny Dykes has signed a contract extension with SMU, Athletics Director Rick Hart announced in a statement on Friday. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
In just its second season on Hilltop, Dykes has taken SMU to one of its most successful seasons in program history. The Mustangs are 10-2, recording the most wins since 1984 and their sixth 10-win season in program history. Dykes is a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award and the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award, is a member of the Dodd Trophy Watchlist and was a semifinalist for the George Munger Coach of the Year Award.
"Sonny and Kate have proven to be perfect for SMU," said Hart. "Coach Dykes has brought together quality staff and created a winning culture within our football program. As a result, we are experiencing record results on the field and in the classroom. Our connection to the community has never been more We look forward to building on this success with Sonny at the helm for years to come. "
"I am honored and honored that SMU has made this strong commitment to me, my family and our talented staff," Dykes said in a statement. "We are proud of what has been accomplished but we expect incredible things ahead. President Turner, Rick Hart and I are aligned in our passion and vision for SMU Football. I am grateful for their continued support and leadership.
"SMU is a special place with special people. Kate and I are blessed to be a part of the SMU community. Rest assured that we will continue to work tirelessly to make the SMU family and the whole city of Dallas proud."
Success for SMU is not just in the field. Dykes has brought SMU to three of its top recruiting classes in the age of rankings, with the 2020 class being the highest average recruiting rating in 247Sports history.
Aside from recruiting and success on the field, Dykes has given SMU priority as hugging Dallas as the "Dallas team." The school put up posters for "Born And Raised" players, as well as first-year assistant coach Ra'Shaad Samples in the Dallas-Ft area. It's worth the metroplex. With the season going on, Dykes' vision of being the Dallas team is on its way.
"We need to be part of the Dallas football program, you know, North Dallas, South Dallas, East Dallas, West Dallas," Dykes said earlier in the season. "That's the idea, it's about recognizing kids who come from different parts of Dallas and how they contribute to our program. It's meaningful to a child, whether it's in Pleasant Grove to hang out and see the Ra'Shaad billboard, or Oak Cliff and see the Demerick billboard.
