The Chubut city of Comodoro Rivadavia launched the Tourists for a Day program, which proposes guided tours of six urban circuits, aimed at visitors and in particular its residents who want to see the city as a foreigner, informed the Commodore Tourism Entity (Encotur).
This summer proposal includes the Kilometer 5, Petrolero, Conferpet, Diadema Argentina, Active Nature and Native Flora circuits.

Tourist Day travels six urban Comodoro circuits
The objective of this program is to ensure that tourists and local residents can learn more about the historical and industrial content of the city and also the natural species and landscapes that characterize it.
The first four circuits propose visits to neighborhoods and buildings declared cultural and historical heritage that marked the beginning of the city's industrial oil development.
The walks of Active Nature and Native Flora visit green and coastal spaces, where you can make contact with native flora and fauna.
The Barrio Diadema Argentina circuit, which includes the tour of the central area of the place, the Santa Barbara Church, the former Cinema Theater and the San José Convent, will be held on Mondays from 10 to 13.
On Tuesdays, from 14.30 to 16.30, the Kilometer 5 Railway Circuit will be developed, with visits to the buildings where the Workshops Station, the YPF Usina Complex and the Railroad Nursing worked.
Meanwhile, the Comferpet Circuit, through which the history of the Kilometer 8 neighborhood will be known, which has its origins in the Petroleum Railroad Company, will be held on Wednesdays, at the same time as the previous one.
