Dignitate tells the drama of high school kids named Alfi (Al Ghazali) and Alana (Caitlin Halderman). Dignitate is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name. This film tells the story of Alfi who is a fierce and cold high school kid. Even though many women like him, Alfi doesn't have time to date.

He was very serious about his studies at school. While Alfi's best friend, Keenan has an inversely proportional nature to him. Keenan always told Alfi to be more relaxed. One day Alfi was late for school and had to clean the women's toilet. There he met Alana, a beautiful new student at school. It turns out that both are one class and sitting next to each other. Instead of getting along, they often argue because they are both stubborn. Alana doesn't like Alfi's rude personality.

Dignitate is the work of Fajar Nugros with Hana Margaretha helping with script writing. Al Ghazali claimed the story shown in the film Dignitate has similarities with life in his family. The cast of Alfi in the film directed by Fajar Nugros said that the Dignitate film emphasized the importance of communication in a family relationship.

"It's worth a lot anyway. The film is about communication and me too yes, the same family used to have communication was not good. And the order in this film is communication with family is important, both inside and outside," said Al Ghazali when met after the premiere Dignitate film in Jakarta, Monday (01/20/2020).

"Because if the communication within the family is already bad, it must be out badly," added the musician's son Ahmad Dhani, as quoted by Antara News. In this film, Al Ghazali said he felt various challenges in playing the character he played.

"Actually, for the difficulty because I am rarely angry, Alfi's mouth is very spicy, maybe the thing that has to be maintained somewhat at the time is emotional stability," he said.
