Novotny scolded ODS delegates six months or so - Mayor of Řepory Pavel Pavel Novotný stormed the waters at the ODS congress. The meager regional politician took advantage of the split after the election of Alexandra Udženiy and, thanks to the nomination for the first vice-chairman, gained room for speech. "We do not know our work here or here, as people, who only read the boulevard and look at the Ordination in the Rose Garden, should know it," Novotny told the delegates.
After the expected election of Petr Fiala to head the ODS, the election congress of the party derailed the election of the first deputy chairman. Alexandra Udženija did not defend the post, although she had no rivals. But the delegates didn't give her enough votes.
And in the corridors, a frantic effort to make a quick agreement began. ODS leadership with regional leaders discussed about an hour at a separate meeting. Fiala pushed for a breakthrough ODS boss Zbyněk Stanjura, part of the delegates pushed Alexander Vondra - he renounced the nomination in favor of Stanjura. In addition, Marie Kubíková, councilor for education of Prague 6, voted in the election.

The coup d'état
The situation was also used by Pavel Novotný, the very proficient mayor of Řeporyje in Prague. He had already announced on social networks that he was preparing a critical speech in which it "nandá" to party-less servicemen.
And he kept his promise. The controversial mayor of Řeporyjí in a speech prepared as critical for the third hour in the morning, not the election, criticized his party colleagues for his inability to present his work in the media. "We do not know our work here or here, as people who only read the boulevard and look at the Ordination in the Rose Garden should know it," Novotny said.
A former tabloid journalist spoke on the other hand, but about his loyalty to Fiala. At the beginning of his provocative speech, he commented on the surprising situation in the election of the first vice-chairman: "Congratulations to the country that it does not even have the balls to build its own candidate when it revolutionizes here."
In his speech, Novotny praised his work on the visibility of Řeporyje through a case with a plan for the construction of a hairpin monument. "A regional supplement to Red Law has not written about you for six months," he told delegates.
Believing like Reporyje
He said the key to ODS's success lies in self-reflection and determination. “(Chairman ANO Andrej) Babis does not act well, sells lie and shit, ODS has more potential. We have it, but we have to trust each other like Reporyje, ”he said. He closed his speech interleaved with vulgarisms: “I don't know if I will leave or lead the party in ten minutes. I can do both. ”
The delegates elected Stanjura as their first vice-chairman, as the old-new boss Fiala wished when he announced Stanjura's nomination that he was convinced that the head of the parliamentary group was a prominent ODS figure. He also stressed that he is also one of the most prominent figures in the Chamber of Deputies, a founding member of the ODS and would be a good first deputy chairman of the ODS. Stanjura said in a short speech that he wants to protect the interests of the middle class and the ODS wants to help lead to victory in the election. "We have the chance to win elections for ourselves, for the middle class, for the Czech Republic," he said.
