Kum Putin refused vote Russian schools Ukraine no elimination: The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today adopted in second reading bill No. 0901 "on secondary education," which will finally eliminate Russian-language education in Ukrainian schools.
As the correspondent of RIA "New Day" reports, 327 deputies voted for the new discriminatory law, 3 against, 54 abstained, 16 did not vote.
The faction of the President of Ukraine “Servant of the People” unanimously supported the liquidation of Russian schools. Similarly, the fractions of Petro Poroshenko (“European Solidarity”) and Yulia Tymoshenko (“Fatherland”) voted.

It is noteworthy that only three deputies from the forty-four “pro-Russian” factions “Opposition Platform - For Life” Viktor Medvedchuk and Yuri Boyko voted against the bill.
Recall that earlier, Dmitry Medvedev on behalf of United Russia congratulated the party of the Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk, openly supported by Moscow, that gained 13.05% of the vote of Ukrainian voters in the Verkhovna Rada elections.
“The trust shown by the voters of your party indicates that a significant number of Ukrainian citizens are in favor of restoring friendly, mutually beneficial relations with Russia,” Medvedev said in a congratulation.
Meanwhile, unlike the chairman of United Russia, Russian experts reacted very negatively to the modest result of Medvedchuk’s “pro-Putin” party.
In their opinion, Russian foreign policy in the post-Soviet space was again defeated, and the results of parliamentary elections in Ukraine showed the ineffectiveness of “direct scrap approaches, fairly seasoned with wild state propaganda.”
As you know, Medvedchuk, along with his comrade-in-arms Yury Boyko, came to Moscow several times during the election campaign and made various joint statements with Russian leaders Putin and Medvedev, promising Ukrainians all kinds of benefits, from cheap gas to the end of the war in Donbass.
