Today, the names of the Finnish hopefuls have been discharged — and on the rundown is UMK 2017 next in line Catharina Zühlke.

Her forte is power anthems and she says her greatest symbols are Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. The UMK jury depicted her tune as being "at home in the most recent James Bond motion picture."
Erika Vikman – "Cicciolina"
Discharge date: Monday 27 January
Erika's tune is enticingly portrayed as a "vivacious Finndisco piece, where no endeavors are made to conceal sexual opportunity." The jury likewise figures it might turn into a staple of Finnish lone wolfess parties. Erika regularly sings in Finnish and "Cicciolina" is no special case.
Aksel Kankaanranta – "Thinking Back"

Built up artist Sansa has an electronic style through a non mainstream society foundation. Her melody for UMK is depicted as a "cool and sexy bit of electropop." The UMK jury portrays the tune as" exemplary Nordic fly at its best" and contrasted the track with something from Swedish pop symbol Robyn.
Catharina Zühlke – "Time everlasting"
Discharge date: Friday 31 January
Fans may recall Catharina Zühlke from UMK 2017, where she completed second with "Immaculate Villain". Presently performing with her first name too, her melody is depicted as being about "the intensity of adoration". Zühlke says she "got a solid inclination that [her] tune has a more prominent importance." The UMK jury doesn't keep down, portraying the tune as a "potential world-blender at the Eurovision Song Contest."
Finnish national last UMK 2020
The last of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2020 will occur on 7 March in Tampere. Facilitated by Mikko Silvennoinen and Eurovision veteran Krista Siegfrids, the champ will be chosen by televote and a specialist jury.
In the previous two years, Finland has inside chosen its craftsman and used UMK to choose their tune. This year, YLE has relinquished the interior determination and UMK will highlight six unique specialists competing for the privilege to speak to Finland in Rotterdam.
The tunes will all be uncovered in the following two weeks, with one tune being discharged on Saturday 25 January. The rest of the tunes will follow with one every day discharge from Tuesday 28 January onwards.
