Ferrari unveils SF90 Stradale, Formula 1 of the road

Here's the new Ferrari supercar, released on Wednesday, and called the SF90 Stradale. Why this name? Because in Italian SF means "Scuderia Ferrari" or "Ferrari Team" in French. This is the name of the Formula 1 manufacturer of Modena. But in order not to confuse the new civilian bolider with Charles Leclerc's car, which also bears the number 90 (corresponding to the 90-year mark), the term Street (which means "road") has been skillfully attached. Note, however, that in SF, "SF" also means "science fiction," and this is a bit of what this first Ferrari Plug-in Hybrid is capable of recharging its battery - unlike LaFerrari or FXX K, the first brand hybrids that can not be reloaded. All the more, the new 7.9 kWh battery allows 25 km of zero emission mode to be able to go into the center of the cities that are gradually starting to block thermal vehicles.

To be able to roll over the SF90, the Stradale has four engines: a 780 hp V8. The mid-rear + 3 electric motors, one next to the gearbox and 2 on the train before the 220 hp or 1000 combined CP! The trick is that in the electric mode, the SF90 acts as a common front wheel Madame Michu, with a speed limit of 135 km / h (more than enough in the city!). In Sport mode, with such a cavalry, acceleration is breathtaking: 0 to 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds (like Bugatti Chiron 1500 hp) and 0 to 200 km / h (the new supercars standard) in 6.7s (ie better than 6.8 seconds of McLaren Senna). As far as the maximum speed is concerned, it is 340 km / h.

But a Ferrari is not just one (or engines), but a line. But SF90 Stradale innovates with small front lamps as a Kohl vascular accident instead of the F8 Tributo hockey sticks. The stops give birth to the classic round design to become hypermodern rounded pie that reminds of those of the Corvette. The two huge pipes in the middle of the heights are more like McLaren. At the aerodynamic level, the SF90 hides its play with a retractable rear wing, able to provide extra support up to 390kg at a speed of 250 km / h, not to mention the stylish wheels that improve brake cooling and airflow around the car.

The interior of the SF90 Stradale also innovates with a steering wheel equipped with the manettino selection of driving modes, but also inaugurates a touchpad and haptic buttons worthy of the Star Wars Falcon wars. The dashboard is fully digital combat, the 8-speed box control buttons form a network that beautifully mimics that of the old Ferrari before the pallet is invented. Finally, let's talk about the question that is annoying: the price. At the moment there is no precise indication of the manufacturer, except that the machine will not be limited (unlike the 500 LaFerrari copies), which allows some specialists to evoke a sci-fi price that would be around millions of euros .
