Elections 2020: Vamos Perú proposes return of contributions to AFP for 40-year-old members
The candidate with number 9 of the Vamos Perú party, Rafael Cabrera, said that if he arrives at the Congress, he will boost the return of the contributions made to the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP) for members 40 years of age and over A year without work.
"Friend from 40 years old and you are one year without work, we will return your contributions between 50% and 60% (of the amount) to start a new business," he said in the 2020 Elections program of Andina Canal Online.
The applicant said his bench is also in favor of the elimination of parliamentary immunity, the renewal by thirds of the parliament, as well as the supervision of transport reform.
Cabrera said there is a consensus to eliminate immunity for legislators and that is why Vamos Peru would be in favor of a third party such as the Constitutional Court or the Supreme Court deciding on this prerogative.
In that sense, he said, they will propose the modification of article 16 of the Regulations of the Congress so that the procedure for the lifting of the jurisdiction lasts 10 days and not 45 or 60 days as it happened in the recent Congress.
On the renewal by thirds, he explained, that the objective is that citizens can vote in the middle of the mandate of the legislators so that the third with less voting is replaced by the accessitaries.
Similarly, he said his party will oversee the transportation reform by considering the road corridors born in the management of former mayor Susana Villararán to be a failure. He said they will also try to formalize the collective taxi service.
Cabrera referred to the representation week and said that instead, Vamos Peru will promote the creation of a permanent representation commission so that congressmen can listen to citizens 24 hours a day and not just one week, which, He indicated that the costs demanded by the mobilization of parliamentarians to provinces would be eliminated.
To deal with corruption, the candidate said that the three levels of government will be monitored with emphasis on construction works to avoid repeating situations such as the one with the construction company Odebrecht.
