Lung disease is spreading aas Chinese lung disease spreading 200 cases - The corona virus continues to spread. The Chinese authorities have now reported more than 200 cases. There are cases in four other countries. It is still unclear where the virus comes from and how it spreads.
China has reported a massive increase in infections with the novel lung disease. In the meantime, 201 people have been infected, the authorities said. In Beijing, two patients tested positive for the corona virus, and one in Shenzhen in southern China.
All three had previously been to Wuhan.

In the meantime four cases abroad
There are now four cases abroad where the novel virus has been detected: one in South Korea and one in Japan and two in Thailand. Patients suffer from fever, breathing problems and other symptoms. All four were previously in Wuhan.
However, at least three of them have not visited the fish market, where the virus is said to have originated. This means that health experts assume that transmission from person to person is also possible. According to the World Health Organization, this has not yet been proven.
Source of infection remains unknown
According to the health authorities, the origin of the new type has not yet been found in China. They have their sights set on the now closed fish market, where wild animals were also sold. The source of the infection is still unknown.
Corona viruses often cause harmless illnesses such as colds - however, pathogens of dangerous respiratory diseases such as Sars and Mers are also included. In the 2002 and 2003 Sars pandemic, respiratory disease had spread from southern China to more than two dozen countries. More than 800 people died.
Significantly more patients expected
Researchers at the British Center for the Analysis of Global Infectious Diseases at Imperial College London believe that the spread with the new disease is also much larger than previously known. They estimate the number of patients to be more than 1,700.
As a precautionary measure, Asian neighbors have introduced fever controls on immigrants from China. Health checks are also carried out on travelers from Wuhan at US airports in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Travel wave to the Chinese New Year
The authorities fear a further spread by the current wave of travel to the Chinese New Year next Saturday. Hundreds of millions of Chinese are traveling across the country to their families these days to celebrate the start of the new year according to the lunar calendar.
Euphoric welcome: Podolski before switching to Antalyaspor
Lukas Podolski is about to switch to Antalyaspor. A return to 1. FC Köln is no longer an issue.
The pictures are clear, and a Twitter post also suggests: Lukas Podolski will almost certainly switch to Süper-Lig club Antalyaspor. After the 34-year-old sat in the stands at Cologne's 3-1 win on Saturday, he boarded a plane to Turkey. In Antalya he was enthusiastically received by the fans with chants. The 2014 world champion posted two emojis on Twitter: an airplane and a scorpion. A clear indication, because the players from Antalyaspor are also called the scorpions.
While an official confirmation of the transfer by the club is still pending, the "Express" reports that Podolski will sign a one-and-a-half year contract until 2021. It would be Podolski's second engagement in Turkey in his career: From 2015 to 2017, the veteran already played for Galatasaray Istanbul and was one of the crowd's favorites there.
On Saturday, the Japanese first division club Vissel Kobe announced that the contract with Podolski, which expired at the end of January, would not be extended. The striker had played for the cup winner in the past three years.
