The woman’s son is a year and two months old, but the authorities, according to her, promise to place the baby in a preschool no earlier than a year and a half later. The young mother is confident that officials violate the child’s constitutional right to free education. The application from her was registered in the Central District Court. The defendant in the case is the city committee for education.

- When the child was only eight months old, I realized that the lines in kindergartens are too long, the situation doesn’t suit me, and I started to study the Internet, - Julia told the correspondent of 74.RU. - Other mothers laughed at me: “Haha, who is suing? Sit and wait like everyone else. ” But I was not going to sit back. I came across lawyers from Perm, they agreed to work with me. For Chelyabinsk this is a new practice, but in other cities there is already successful experience - after a court decision, kindergartens were given when the children were less than a year old.

Julia and her family live in the Zalesye microdistrict in the Sosnovsky district. She clarified that her son would definitely not be able to get to the local kindergarten from next year, because there children were recruited from the age of three. In the placement of the child in a preschool in Chelyabinsk - and the woman asked for a kindergarten near her place of work, near Shershny - she was also refused.

The city committee on education explained that groups in kindergartens are formed before the start of the school year. At that time, in 2019, the baby was only 10 months old, and in preschool institutions of Chelyabinsk, pupils have been admitted since the year.

“The possibility of placing a child will be considered during the period of mass acquisition for 2020–2021,” the department explained. - At the same time, in kindergartens, which Julia indicated as priority, groups for children from three years are open.

This year, the young mother will end maternity leave, you will need to go to work. But where to put the child? Chelyabink is not able to pay for a private kindergarten. At the same time, she does not want to sit with the baby until she is three years old.

- I have a lot of friends who took the kids at this age - they do not adapt well, they are constantly sick, they have delays in the development of speech. “I want my child to grow up fully, communicate with peers, and I have the right to do so,” said the young mother. - I pay taxes, I do everything that concerns me as a citizen. But why then does the state not fulfill its obligations? It is clear that there are not enough places in kindergartens, but these are not my problems.

How justified are the demands of Julia, the court will decide. Chelyabinsk's lawsuit against the committee occupies 11 pages of A4 format. Mom has not yet set a date for the first meeting to consider the application.
