According to the same newspaper, the firm led by Marta Álvarez has already hired Evercore and Deloitte to start talks with the Tendam Group to acquire Cortefiel, although more details about this operation are not yet known.

In this way, El Corte Inglés would no longer depend only on its own brands and could achieve an ambitious turnover figure. This is one of the key projects of the strategic plan for the next 5 years that the company presented last week and with which it aims to boost its growth and ensure its financial strength.
